Tour Details

Oporto, as the British usually call it or just Porto as we, locals, do? In any event, a magic city to discover!

This Oporto afternoon city tour  allows you to witness the busy afternoon streets of a working town.

Choose the most convenient time of the day for you,  a morning tour is also aivailable.

A 4 hours guided private tour to the most charming locations, emblematic monuments and buildings of Porto.

Meeting time and points

Pick-up and drop-off points will be your hotel/accommodation, or any other previously agreed location within the city area. In General, pick-up time is between 3 and 4pm.The exact time to be concerted.

3pm to 4pm

Duration

Maximum duration will be 4 hours. The Driver/Guide will advise about how much time to spend in each location, but he is not responsible for queues to enter the attractions or traffic jams that may happen along the course.

Included

  • Transport of a maximum 4 persons by a scenic (large windows) 7 seats vehicle, complying with Clean & Safe measures;
  • A Driver/Guide certified by Turismo de Portugal assuring a professional, discreet and confidential ambience;
  • Wi-Fi, bottled water and professional attention;
  • Commented trip by our Driver/Guide in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese;
  • Personal accident and liability insurance.

Not Included

  • Tickets and admittance to venues and attractions;
  • Guided visit to interior of some of the monuments, as they have their own guides and don’t allow external guides. You may visit at your own initiative - the Driver/Guide may help you to book
  • Eventual gratuities (not included), are left to client's will and kindness.

Notes

  • Safety seat for children under 8 years of age or 4 foot 9 inches (144 cm) tall are available on request when booking

Equipment and garments

  • No special equipment or garments are required. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes. Sunscreen and hat, or a raincoat and umbrella are recommended, according to the season and weather conditions.

Description & Itinerary

The usual itinerary will take you to Clérigos Tower, Lello bookstore, São Bento train station, Porto Cathedral, Luiz I Bridge, Serra do Pilar viewpoint , Casa da Música, Foz do Douro, Liberty Square. This  attractions list is not mandatory nor exhaustive and it may be adjusted to your expectations.

Difficulty level and accessibility: Easy - For All

This tour is classified as Easy. Comprises some short walking routes, yet accessible for those with limited mobility;

Panoramic ride is possible with collapsible wheelchairs if the passenger is assisted by someone. Not accessible by wheelchair at some buildings /locations.
